Wax Museum of Barcelona

Wax Museum of Barcelona

To product

Time stops while the wax comes to life on this tour of the history of knowledge and mankind through the ages with its most representative figures.

This building, a former bank, with its neoclassic architecture houses the collection of wax figures. The museum project became a reality by emphasising, at all times, the extraordinary heritage value of the palace; a sensitiveness that made it possible to preserve, even to this day, some of the rooms and original furniture of the building.

In the museum you will be able to enjoy surprising scenes and to admire the skill of the creators and thinkers of all time.

The tour takes about an hour, and starts at the spectacular staircase and ends after the most mysterious area of the museum. The outstanding set design of most of the rooms was projected by the founder of the museum, Enrique Alarcón, a renowned set designer.
